Confidence & Performance
You are capable. Something gets between knowing it and showing it.
This is rarely about ability and almost always about what happens under observation. The preparation is done, the training is done — and then something tightens at the moment it counts. That gap is very responsive to hypnotherapy, which is why it has been used in sport and performance for decades.
Public speaking and presenting
The meeting you go quiet in, the wedding speech you would rather skip, the promotion that would mean presenting every month. It is consistently one of the most commonly reported fears anywhere, and it is rarely about the material.
Interviews and career
Freezing when it matters, underselling yourself, or the quiet conviction that you will eventually be found out. Work is where confidence is most measurable and where its absence costs the most.
Sport and competition
Training beautifully and then not delivering on the day. The yips, the second guess, the tightening. This is the oldest and best-established use of hypnosis for performance.
Exams and study
Blanking, procrastinating, or knowing the content perfectly well and not being able to reach it under pressure — in an age group already carrying the highest anxiety rates in the country.
Social anxiety
Social anxiety is an intense fear of judgment or scrutiny in social situations, and it's highly treatable once you address the underlying nervous system response, to become the version of yourself in a room that you are when you are at home.
Self-worth
Underneath most of the above. The voice that says not yet, not you, not good enough — usually a good deal older than the situation it is commenting on.
